Why Aberdeen Angus?

They are a breed of cattle that offers producers distinct advantages, such as smaller carbon footprint, superior efficiency on forage-only diets, and a desirable end product.

Aberdeens have maintained the features that made Angus cattle popular, such as structural correctness, docile nature, and maternal traits.

Aberdeens consume less feed than larger cattle breeds, while weaning a calf that is a higher percentage of their body weight. This leads to lower costs and higher profits for cattle operations.

Aberdeens offer a carcass with modern-sized portions that appeal to most consumers who are not looking for large steaks.

Why KuneKune pigs?

KuneKunes are a breed of small, friendly, grazing pigs that can be used for various purposes. They are a great breed for lard production as well as producing delicious pork.

Kunekunes are suitable for different farm sizes, environments, and markets. They are docile, easy to handle, and have a short snout that prevents rooting.

Hello!

This is us, Jenna and Trae, two people trying to make a positive difference with what we do.

We have backgrounds in soil conservation, rangeland management, environmental science, and animal science. Plus, many years assisting in ranching and cattle operations.

We strive to make a positive difference with our operation. Utilizing healthy operational practices, we ensure that our animals, the environment, and the food we produce are as healthy as possible.

We are providing a happy healthy place for our livestock to grow and thrive. We are continually learning new ways to manage our livestock to improve environmental health. We are using regenerative protocols to improve soil health in our garden.

We challenge you to make a difference in your life as well-even if that difference is as simple as a smile at a stranger.
